  • Biometric data: facial recognition or fingerprint data, only if you opt in to enhanced authentication.
  • Financial data: payment details when using government payment gateways.

  • Device information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
  • Usage data: details of your visits, including logs and interaction patterns.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect for the following official purposes:

  • To present the portal and its services to you securely.
  • To verify your identity for accessing government digital services.
  • To process applications and send related notifications.
  • To notify you about changes to our services.
  • To fulfil any other purpose as mandated by the Government of Sri Lanka.
