Renew your Sri Lankan passport if it has expired, is about to expire, or has run out of pages.
Eligibility
- Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka by descent or registration.
- Current passport must be expiring within 12 months, expired, or have no blank visa pages.
- Must possess a valid National Identity Card (NIC).

Prepare clear scanned copies (PDF or JPEG) of the following to upload during your application.
Current passport
Data page and any alteration pages.
National Identity Card
Both front and back sides.
Birth certificate
Issued by the Registrar General.
Digital photograph
Studio acknowledgement receipt number.
